Tule Livingston Dillow, female half of a rather obscure music duo Lyme &
Cybelle (their only charted hit (which made the hot 100 but not the top 40)
was "Follow Me" in 1966), died March 3 of breast cancer.

The other half of Lyme & Cybelle was her first husband, Warren Zevon, who
died six months ago of cancer. The song "Tule's Blues" on Zevon's first
album from 1969 ("Wanted Dead or Alive") was about Tule.

My God, woman, just how do_you_find these things? I lost a very
expensive watch back in '99, any idea where it might be? ;-)~

..All of my sources show the female member of that duo as VIOLET
SANTANGELO. And, in fact, WARREN ZEVON was replaced after the first
two singles by WAYNE ERWIN. Perhaps Zevon & his first wife assumed
the LYME & CYBELLE name ??? Or perhaps, they performed on stage the
one minor hit "Follow Me" in their act and claimed they had recorded
it ???..
...Anyone with any ideas as to the real truth ??

Wasn't that the song that Al Bundy had stuck in his head in one Married
With Children show?

No, that song would be ARTHUR ALEXANDER's "Anna (Go To Him)". Arthur
had a big hit with "You Better Move On" (covered by the Rolling
Stones), and of course, the Beatles covered "Anna"...

Violet Santangelo was Warren Zevon's partner in Lyme and Cybelle. It's on Wikipedia and about every other site you can think of.
