No cause of death has been released for the character actor and "NCIS"
star, who died in his home last week.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MICHAEL GILDEN -- the actor who most recently starred as PAULEY
PERRETTE's love interest on the CBS drama "NCIS" -- died on Tuesday,
December 5, at his home in Los Angeles, California.

He had also appeared on "Charmed," "Family Law" and "CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation," as well as feature films including 'Pulp Fiction' and
'Star Wars: Episode VI - Return Of The Jedi.'

Gilden was married to another successful acting little person, MEREDITH
EATON-GILDEN, who's been WILLIAM SHATNER's love interest on "Boston
Legal."

The 44-year-old actor was buried Sunday during a private service in
Mission Hills, California.

Wikipedia doesn't say that anymore (as of 323p ET), and makes no
mention of his death at all. Can't find anything else anywhere.
Entertainment Tonight is all alone on this, at least so far.

Pic of Gilden's wife, who works under the name Meredith Eaton:

You do realize that anybody can edit Wikipedia to remove errors? You
don't need to contact an admin or wait for "somebody to pull it"; just
do it yourself.

I couldn't find Wikipedia's page for Gilden by doing search at their
site.

But using Google search his Wikipedia page showed up.

There's also mention of his death on this page as well:

Entertainment Tonight did the story last night at some length (at least
for ET), and called the death a suicide. As of this post, the Wiki
page now mentions his death (and all the verbs have been changed to
past tense) but doesn't mention the circumstances.

That's a pickup from ET Online. If I got all this right, Gilden wasn't
a "star" in "Jedi"; he played one of the Ewok teddy bear things at the
end.

He was found hanging in the garage by his wife. He'd been suffering
from depression and his father passed away (Parkinson's) not too long
ago. Very sad.
