The family of Duane "Dog" Chapman suffers another tragic death.

Russell Chapman died Sunday at a Mississippi hospital from
complications of liver and kidney failure. He was a member of Dog's
posse for more than 22 years.

Just a year ago, the bounty hunter's daughter, Barbara, was killed in
a car crash. It was the same day he exchanged vows with his long-time
girlfriend, Beth Smith.

Russell was 44 years old.

I went my whole life without knowing who this guy was, then in the
space of one week, I see him in a cameo on "My Name is Earl," I catch
about half an episode of his show while channel-flipping (pretty
entertaining, BTW) and now this death notice.

He was Tim Chapman's real brother. I don't remember him from the
reality show.

Apparently, since it wasn't mentioned that they were twins, Russell
was not born in the same litter as "Dog."

He's not related to Dog Chapman at all. Tim (Youngblood) Chapman and Russell
Chapman are/were brothers. While it's true that Duane (Dog) and Tim both
share identical last names, they are not related in any way.

Yes, I was aware that Tim Chapman wasn't related to Dog ... but the
title of article indicated it was family member of Dog's and it didn't
mention it was Tim's brother ... so I thought he was an actual direct
relative to Dog.
