DAng! This is the first major death of 2089, why oh why did Jimmy
have to go and right now. We will mist you Jimbo, may your sole rest
in peas! We will always remember what you did, who you did it to and
why!

Actually, I remember growing up in Columbus, Ohio, and listening to Jimmy
Crum on the NBC affiliate, WLW-C, Channel 4. We used to call him Jimmy
Crummy. He always looked 20 - 30 years older than he was.

Hey, DGH, I grew up in Columbus too and remember his play-by-play of
Ohio State basketball games, and nightly newscasts on Channel 4. On
the big plays, he would exclaim "How about that!" He may have stolen
that one from Mel Allen.

He was a broadcaster in the days when you didn't have to be good
looking.
