much spice you season them with, I suppose--but they're ALWAYS properly
spelled with two As.

I totally agree that "competitive eating" is stupid and disgusting.
But then again, I feel pretty much the same way about all (spectator) "sports".

And here's the thing: You can't really regulate it, because I think
"sports" is one of those things (like religion) that falls into the "onion"
category. You can't pick at it, because if you start, you'll soon find
there's nothing left.
