She (born Weissenbach) came from a different line of
"abbreviating Bachs" than Barbara (Goldbach) or
Catherine (Bachman).

The musical Bachs are I believe extinct though they
had a centuries-long run,the loss of Peter Shickele
severing our link to P.D.Q.
