Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer was shot dead on Jan.21, 1959, at 32, while
trying to collect a debt. Unfortunetly, his death was overshadowed by
Cecil B. DeMille, who died the same day (ironically, Carl had a bit
part in "The Ten Commandments" (1956) DeMille's last great movie.
