Veteran Character Actor Mickey Jones Dies at 76

The 'Vacation' and 'Tin Cup' actor died Wednesday after a long illness.

Veteran actor Mickey Jones, who appeared in dozens of films and TV shows, has died, his rep Cherry Hepburn confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 76.

"Mickey died at 2:17 a.m. Wednesday of the effects of a long illness," Hepburn said.

The actor, easily spotted with a bearded, burly look, appeared in such movies and shows as Vacation, MASH, Tin Cup, Entourage, Bones, Total Recall, Sling Blade and Starman.

I think of him Justified. Nothing else

He was great on Justified. Half the men on Justified had that same look. He was very funny on his one appearance on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Gunther, owner of "Gunther's Guns."
